Guest Anonymous
Why does the 280zx turbo have two pressure lines going from the outside AND inside of the compressor scroll leading to the waste gate? Most turbos I've seen have only one line going from the compressor outlet to the waste gate actuator. The zx has the two lines Y-ed together and then going to the actuator. Would it be more efficient to just plug the inside outlet and only run the one line to the actuator? Was this for surge protection? I have a BOV installed if that matters. Thanks in advance. Lockjaw
I plugged mine and ran the signal from the intake manifold to quicken spool up time. I never had any problems.
