Guest Anonymous
I'm new to this site (I'm thinking about converting from zcar.com-ism because of their biased views) so I have a few questions that guys on zcar.com couldn't answer. Well, I have heard rumors of twin-turbo'd Z31's in the far east back in the 80's when we here in North America (as always!) got the watered-down single turbo only good for 200hp. Here are my questions: 1)How hard is it (and is it possible) to get a hold of one of these VG30ETT's, 2)would it be easier to transplant a VG30DETT, and 3)could I just make a "mirror" of the turbo manifold for the right side of the engine (and sheet metal intake w/75mm tb's)? Guest Anonymous
I do not know much about this but I did see a VG30ETT on ebay awhile back and I think it was in the US!! Hope this helps, Mark
Guest Anonymous
I mean the auction was in the US, not that it was stock in the US. Sorry
Lockjaw
Anything is possible. Have you checked with one of the salvage yards that is importing JAP engines to the US? Theoretically, they should be able to get you a front clip of a car using the engine you want, which would also get you an ecu and wiring harness. Just a thought.
