scottyMIz Posted September 24, 2002 Share Posted September 24, 2002 depends on the t3/t4 if it's a b yes no mods but if it's a e then it has to be spaced or metal on the exhaust manifold has to be taken out to make it fit.I ran 18 psi of boost on the stock turbo with a volvo ic and got into the high 12's in the quarter. Compressor inlet size is larger, and so is compressor outlet so intake and intercooler piping will need slight mods. A T04B compressor housing usually clears the exhaust manifold, while a t04e will need a spacer to give it some room (grinding into the manifold is optional).
