v8dats Posted November 6, 2002 Share Posted November 6, 2002 i know that the turbo head subject has been answered many time butthe p90 is getting rareand the p79 has the same chambers. can the p79 be used with a turbo even though it has the exhaust liners? in basic terms without going in deep into which is the best turbo head.which one will work? yo2001 Posted November 7, 2002 Share Posted November 7, 2002 I don't see any problem with P79 on turbo motor because the turbo exhaust manifold is not a square ports. It's the real weird D port looking thing. However, I've notice that my P79 didn't have bronze valve guides and my P90 did. So that guides could use some work, I guess.
