Guest Anonymous Posted November 21, 2002 Share Posted November 21, 2002 I have had my 81 n/a for about a year and half and have been very happy with it. and tomorrow I'm off to go look at a 280zxt!! The guy assures me that the engine is good, but the body is crap. My long term goal is to put the engine and the trans in my n/a, and have a perfectly streetable car that runs in the low 14's or so. Guest De Schmaydee Posted November 21, 2002 Share Posted November 21, 2002 ....i was gonna do that (the other way)take the stuff outta my turbo car and put it into an 81...its do-able....but its hard to get the tranny in and the exhaust runs on the opposite side....you have a nice lookin' car ...i think you'll really be pleased once its in..... .....i need lots of body work...in my case it wont be any faster and ive spent a lot on suspension and exhaust upgrades...so i figured it wasnt worth the trouble...better to fix what i have.....s Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
