warrenp
well not really. i posted a few months ago about putting a vg30et in to my 88 hardbody nissan. it's in!! not running but it is in tranny and engine. any way i got a question i'm hoping some on can answer me. when i bought the wiring harness and ecu last spring and they are from a automatic 300zxt see my truckis a manual tranny with a 300zxt motor in it. i have been told i can't use a automatic 300zxt ecu on a manual tranny 300zxt? is this true? if so can i at least use the wiring harness? and just plug in a manual tranny 300zxt ecu in to it? thanks!! ZR8ED
For sure you can use the ecu from an automatic with a stick. I too run an ecu from an automatic, and I have a t5 5spd. As far as which wires?...hmm I would think its only the neutral safety switch... the others are for controling downshifting I believe... a speed sensor... there are about 5 connectors for the auto tranny... been a while since I've done it now... The rest of my connectors have just been removed and/or sealed off.
