Guest BadKarmaCreepin
so i went out and measured my exhaust pipe around (about 8 inches) thus translating into about a 2.5" exhaust, correct (hope my basic geometry held up) so, my question is, i want to get this aftermarket muffler (tanabe racing medallion) but the guy selling it says it has a 2.25" inlet (where it would weld to the pipe) how restrictive would this be? thanks! RPMS
Hey, John. Could you elaborate a bit? Should he not buy it because the inlet is the wrong size, or because it's a crap muffler? I'm curious.
johnc
Inlet size reduction. I don't know about the quality of the muffler. BTW... the two best performance mufflers are: Coast Fabrication Borla XR-1 The first is too loud for the street and the second is tolerable - for a little while.
