one carb flooding, the other dry

i just recently got my 260 to start, i drove it up and down the driveway yesterday trying to learn stick and it ran good. i came home today to have a friend drive it on the road so we could open it up a little more and it will start for maybe a second. you can look and see way to much gas dumping into one carb and none into the other. any ideas as to what the cause and possible solutions to this problem may be? thanks.

Check to be sure that nothing is blocking the fuel to one of the carbs... i would remove the metal fuel line that wraps around the engine and blow it out with compressed air. Check the flot bowl and the hose that connects it to the metering part of the carb. All I can think is that one carb is somehow stopped up and all the fuel is going to the other carb.
