Guest tom sixbey Posted March 15, 2002 Share Posted March 15, 2002 not really... ignition problems are usually have very simple causes, but can be a total bastard to find. 1st off, you need to find out which cylinders are misfiring. Do this by pulling plugs. If you pull a plug and the motor doesnt run any worse - chances are you've found a faulty spot. Once you determine which plugs arent firing, find out why. Examine the plugs, wires, and cap. Make sure the plugs have the proper gap. you might have to play with it a while. Whatever the case though, if its the same plugs not firing every time, the problem is in the high tension circuitry, so check that stuff out...
