Guest nezzie76
I finally got the velo rossa running. I had to replace the thermostat housing because I broke a bolt trying to change the thermostat. Well anyways the problem is that the car's thermostat gauge reads 120-125 degrees all the time even when the car's been running for 20 minutes. Have you guys ever had that problem? I was thinking maybe the gauge itself is bad. I checked and rechecked the sending unit and the connections to it. One change that was made was that I got the housing off a 77 I think, and mine's a 76. So on the new one there are 3 connections (sending unit + a brown and an orange connection on the bottom), on my old one there are an additional connection that sat next to the sending unit. It had a ground and a blue wire. I didn't think that it would make a difference but now I'm not sure. What do you guys think?
