Guest Anonymous
http://www.dallara.it/main_facilities/7_post_rig2.htm From what I make of it, and the other screens is that they hook up sensors up to the car, run it around the track... the sensors gather keep track condition data (bank angles, corners etc..) and logs it re-runs the test on the stand and allows tuners to positivly adjust suspension.... where do I get one? LOL also check out the Dallara "sports car" thats the sports car I want heh, they are the F1 car pioneers..
Mudge
Data logging isn't really cheap, I'd expect $1500 is a bargain and $2000-$2500 is more the norm. I hardly pay attention to these setups because of the price, but I have come across a couple people that have them. It basically seems to be an accelerometer with a brain, and data logging, so I think it is a bit overpriced perhaps. The more complex stuff though ($$$) will have sensors at every suspension point. Would be neat, but until you do some serious racing and have the experience I think it to be more a distraction, and money should go elsewhere, seat time or otherwise.
