Guest livewire23
Ya know, it just occured to me that moving to Iowa/Michigan will not be good for the health of my Z. What would I have to do to prep the car against rust? Right now its in a primer coat, so now would be a good time to think about it. All the surface rust has been removed prior to primering it, so its in good shape right now. If its too much trouble I'm just going to earl schieb it and unload it to the highest bidder. Maybe get a newer RWD/AWD turbo car to work on in snow-country. If I keep it, I'll get it a nice paint job, maybe something with stripes... Guest livewire23
I dunno how I managed to miss that one. The only thing is, there isnt much rust on my car currently. I'm mostly just worried about the frame rails. From reading that post, they make it sound like I should just grab a can of primer or a can of high-temp spraypaint and spray the bottom. Would that work to prevent future rust?
