Guest skipper
Good afternoon Hybrid Z. I am new to this brave new world of V8 Z's but not to mechanics. All that means is I have a million questions and I will try not to sound too stupid asking them. I will start with tis one. Where can I get a new floor pan for my car? It is a '70 (#1250) with a small block Chevrolet and a turbo 400. The floor has a little cancer and I want to replace it and add frame connectors while I am at it. Mike Kelly has already given some brief advice on the subject and I am thankfull but I am seeking some additional details, drawings, vendors, etc. From here I will go to rear ends and 4 wheel disks but for now help with the floor would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Skipper
Brad-ManQ45
http://web.ctsolutions.com/zeddfind/ This is where I got mine, and Charlie is a great guy. MSA sells these as their premium Floor Pans. If you are going to do the subchassis connectors, don't bother getting the xtra bracing ($75 I think).
