Guest kcambron
I have beadblasted the backside of fenders, headlight buckets, etc. I then put one coat of self etching primer, is this good enough or should I put another coat of primer or paint? I don't want a lot of extra weight so I am leaving anything not needed off! What finish does the factory do in these areas? Thanks! Guest Anonymous
is this type of primer any good (instant lacquer surface primer) and what are the better types of primer?
j260z
i'm looking into getting the same stuff they use for truck bed liners. it weighs a little but they can spray it on less than 1/8th of an inch (or so they say) and the stuff dries hard but flexable, doesn't chip and they can do different colors. I hate standard undercoat because it doesn't dry and dirt sticks to it. just my .02.
