80LS1T
Ok I know I asked this before but that was before I actually had the wiring harness for the computer figured out and ready to go. I was looking at the directions from Autometer but I am still confused. I am assuming that I have the 2 wire sine wave for my LT1/T56? Yes/No?? Here's the autometer directions... Here are 2 drawings that I think are the way to hook it up...are either of them right? Is the VSS Out Wire just for the cruise/factory speedo?(not using that) I am thinking that it is drawing #1 Thanks Guy
Kinked_Chrome
If your using the oem VSS, your pcm should have an output for it. I have an OBDI system on my lt1 setout. It is a dark green with a white tracer on Connector B(either the blue or black one, I can't remember). Although I am using the 4l60e, but I imagine it should be the same. check out http://csce.uark.edu/~jgbertr/rb/4th_gen_tech1.html, I think it might have the info you need. 80LS1T
I dont think that will work for me. I have an aftermarket wiring harness. According to the Autometer directions you shouldn't just hook it up to the output on the computer because the signal won't be "buffered" or "accurate." I might end up going this route though if it doesn't work the way I think it should be hooked up. Guy
