Darrel
After making my test tool, to see how it would work. I decided to make it from the good stuff. The only thing I was looking for were the connecting nuts(longer than normal). Following a tip from TonyD I found them. PARTS LIST Hardened 12x1.25mm all-thread flat bearing 2 hardened washers big washer(from my energy suspension bushing kit) bronze flange bushing 1" id pipe flat washer, to weld inside one end of pipe 2 connecting nuts, nissan lugnuts for use on mag wheels. cut the round end off, and clean up the threads. they go all the way thru. For a pic go to zdriver photo galleries, then search for my name
speeder
I have used Dan Bethea's tool and had to weld another 12mm nut onto the end - worked well except for that - I think I will look for the correct size threaded rod and use this idea. Excellent upgrade.
