80LS1T Posted April 15, 2003 Share Posted April 15, 2003 Ok first of all what does the R230 have to do with switching transmissions? And did some one tell you can use the original tranny with the V8? I don't think that its possible to use the Nissan tranny with a V8(chevy,ford,mopar,etc) with out a specail bellhousing adapter(which noone probably makes). It just kinda sounds like you think that you can use the original tranny. ANYTHING is possible! I am not a 300ZX owner or guru but I can't imagine why it wouldn't be possible.
