Bent strut tubes

Has anyone that has ever had bent strut tubes remember if you had ever had the all four off the ground before? I have read some posts where people have had slightly bent tubes and could barely get the dampeners out and as I plan on rebuilding my suspension on my 77 soon I am concerned about possible damage to the suspension as I have unfortunately had the car off the ground twice, landing VERY hard

My "Auxilary" Z is set-up specifically for re-living the "Bullett" movie scenes here in down-town Little Rock. It's powered by a B&S 7hp motor (to keep the weight down on the front for those hard impacts) :weird: . Of course, the high speed runs are done with the "Primary" Z (which is a clone of my Auxilary Z -Blueoval1 and 2 as they are named) which has the 289 V8 in it. Bet you guys didn't know that, did you. :D:D

Seriously, I've had to pry inserts out of good tubes due to rust on the inside. If they are bent, I'd want them out and replaced anyway.

Oh don't worry if they are bent they're gone, I was just wondering if anyone had any firsthand knowledge if a couple of hard lands (definately not Steve McQueen territory) would be enough to damage them? By the way Terry, I just went to your site yesterday for the first time(don't know why I didn't before) and I have to say your car is spectacular, I've got the right front 3/4 shot as my wallpaper here at work
