Guest RON JONES
David, you said in a reply above that you were installing 7/16 studs and rockers soon.I assumed you had 3/8 studs. The stud girdle does prevent studs from breaking at the base.Jeeze you think I was selling these things the way I,m pushing them.I allways use to have one on my motors(I run a Jesel rocker shaft now).If you ran a big block I,d give you one,I,ve got two spares I,ll probobly never use.Anyway I,m just trying help.Even when things arn,t supose to break, sometimes they still do.Stud girdles elimanate rocker arm stud failure, thats my point.Dave your studs are breaking off up high right under adjustment threads?Thats strang,They usually break at the base. Are you useing a good chrome moly stud?[This message has been edited by RON JONES [This message has been edited by RON JONES (edited February 16, 2000).]k [This message has been edited by RON JONES (edited February 16, 2000).]
