Guest Drewz
I have just stumbled on a 1986 300ZX turbo cars for next to free and was wondering what should be salvaged. There is no motor or trans but the reast is there. I am thinking the Diffy cv shafts but is there any use in the brakes, rotors, hubs, etc.? Interior is crap and wasn't interested in it anyways but I would hate to not pickover anything I could use or someone could use. All input is helpful!!!! j260z
everything you mentioned would be good. the 5 bolt front hubs are a direct swap ,although the offset is different,(check out my album for pics) the vented discs will work with the front hubs for the later model toyota caliper swap (you will need spacers) the r200 diff and cv shafts will swap (Ross C sells the companion flange adapters) i think if you can grab the ecu from that also it should be worth something to someone also. my $0.02 anyways. Guest Drewz
I think the ecu is gone but it may even be a ttop car to boot. Got to go see it this weekend possibly. The turbo rear is LSD?? I will be up in Calgary this year with my Z so I will shoot you an email when I come up. I may even try to get a dyno run in if the car is running right. You ever go to bullshit corner??
