Guest Zachb55
I am a victim of this as well and could also use a bit of advice on what others have used.... Laquer Thinner takes the paint off but its slow and im sure its not good for the pieces, what about repainting? anyone know of a good dye or paint that is good for interior peices like that? -Zach
V8ZRACER260Z
Do not use laquer thinner. It will attack the plastic & vinal pieces. Try a clay bar if the parts are smooth. there are several brands of overspray removal liquids out there like "Goof Off". These are primarily designed for exterior sufaces. Go to a reputable upholstry shop and they will have recommendations for you. More than likely they will need to be painted or redyed to remove all of it. DavyZ
Rick's option is the only one that I know of that will work w/o hurting the vinyl. The other option is to cover the area up with SEM Landau black interior fabric and vinyl spray dye/paint. It looks 'stock' and is consistent in it's gloss, but be forewarned: your job is only as good as the prep work. Davy
