cheapest place to get engine and tranny rebuild kits

lookin for a rebuild kit for a 700r4 and a chevy 350 engine rebuild kit. If i recall, 700r4 are expensive to rebuild

hey dude try http://www.jegs.com and http://www.summitracing.com a friend of mine rebuilt a 5.7 out of a 64 Impala last year as a senior project and the rebuild kit was reasonably priced. I dont member how much it was but it wasnt to bad. It was all of the machineing that had to be done to the block and heads that added up quick. His machine shop bought him a new block b/c they machined the cilenders way over bore the smallest was like .0006 over and they were out of round also when we got them back. and then they tried to say it was fine to reuse I think it was our local NAPA store.

check northern auto parts I seem to remember a $154 a stock kit for a 350 up to 85 and they probably have a trans kit too http://www.northernautoparts.com or something

they have the best prices on felpro gaskets,trw engine kits, and transmission kits i`ve ever seen. The catalog has almost everything you could think of in it. for example, I bought 25' rolls of steel brake,fuel, and transmission lines for less than 6.00 per roll.
