I was reading Jtr Book About The 700R4.. 86 And Up. I have A Parted out K5 Blazer 4 Wheel Drive. Is it the Tail Section different or The Shaft.... It would be Sweet if i Could Us this Trans Mabey Its worth A shot. denny411 Posted April 28, 2003 Share Posted April 28, 2003 The output shaft is shorter for the 4x4. it can be changed to the longer 2wd shaft, but it`s nearly the last part that you take out and you have to go through the pump end. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
