Guest iskone
Has anyone converted their early Z to a live axle setup? Does it have a bad effect on road noise. I would like to know because I don't like an I.R.S. setup since it is hard to get any anti-squat out of them with out spending big bucks
Scottie-GNZ
What exactly are you trying to do with your car? I assume drag racing, so how much HP, what tires and how quick do you expect to be going? I smeall another Z-car squat debate coming
Guest iskone
No I won't be dragging on a regular basis just somtimes. I haven't decided what kind of tires I'll be using but I'll probally use 17x7's but I may decide to cut up the wheel well if I use a live axle in wich case I"ll use fatter tires. Just is just a car I'll be building to drive everyday and road and drag race when I feel like it. as far as horse power not much just around 400hp is what I'm planning on running
auxilary
I think just a set of rather stiff springs and shocks will alleviate the problem, and you'll find irs much more pleasant for daily driving on bumpy roads
