jgkurz
I just purchased new struts and sway bars for my 77z. I am wondering if the addition of these parts plus lowering springs will cause my camber to change outside of street specs? I'd rather not spend the money on camber adjusters right now if I don't have to. On the other hand I don't want to deal with strange steering geomerty or extreme tire wear. Anyone have an opinion on this? Thanks,
Synlubes
John, The sway bars and struts will not cause any change. The springs may give you a small amount of - camber, but not enough to cause any problems.
jgkurz
So if I understand correctly, the lowering springs will add a small amount of negative camber. Correct? A bit of negative camber will probably improve my handling somewhat.. Thanks Doug!!!
Synlubes
Yes that is correct. Camber is a good thing for better handling.
