Chasv8z
Has anyone ever used POR 20 on headers it's either that or send them to jet hot to be coated. I have used POR 15 with good results but am unsure on POR 20.
Guest Night_rider_383
I aluma coated my headers with anti-seize. I can't say how it stands up to heat cause I aint got the engine built yet. I heard about this from some of the guys over on http://www.nastyz28.com The guys over there seems to love how it turned out and held up to heat on theres. You just wipe the anti seize on, then cure it with a torch or by running your engine. Do a search over there on nastyz28 for the step by step how too. Guest Phil1934
I did mine with a spray on ceramic from http://www.SpeedwayMotors.com I used the black and they have a chrome. I didn't want to risk my gun so sprayed it with a $10 air brush from Northern. Only caution is get the cap off and stir the bottom, don't rely on just shaking. I baked it in the oven after as it stays soft until cured.
Guest 2adz
I've used POR20 on my intake and it worked great. The downside is that the stuff won't cure until it reaches something like 200 degrees. I had to bake my intake in an oven. I thought about using it on my current headers but putting them back on will be a pain because the paint will still be sticky. Oh, and another thing, the stuff is water thin, great if you don't want to loose detail like my intake but I really like the stuff.
