innerware
What is the downfall of filling in the pillar vents on a 280z. I like the look with them shaved but will it hurt the car somehow? What was the function of them anyway? Anyone out there done it? And how? Any tips? As always, thanks, Kyle

j260z
i believe those vents are to exhaust the air brought into the cabin from the fan. if they are covered up i would think that you would defeat the fresh air versus recirculating air switch. i think you would only really notice it in the winter when you would want to always have fresh air coming in to keep the moisture levels from getting too high and fogging up the windows inside the car. you may run into the same problem in cool rain conditions also.
