Guest Anonymous
Ok, ive searched and searched but i still cant make up my mind about a 327 versus 350. The car will be a street machine with 50/50 highway & city miles. I want to keep the redline down to 6500 max to increase the life expectancy of the engine. Looking for the easiest but correct way to get a smooth broad torque/hp curve. Also, when i get a tranny, I will match up the gear ratios to match shifting from my max hp point to my max torque point. I would like to keep the motor carbed and then at some pont down the line i will switch over to the TPI setup when i have more cash. Should i just build up whichever motor i can get first? I figure the Edelbrock RPM stuff will have a similar effect on both motors. should i bother mixing and matching heads/cam/intake/carb from different companies? also, is it worth getting a vortec style head to use with the E-tec manifold? so many questions... hopefully so many answers thanks!
