Guest Pegasus76
Alright, the other day I did 2 burnouts...Didn't run my car that hard at all. I get home and park it and didn't go out for the rest of the night. Then today I get up and try to go to school and my car doesn't start. I hear a "click" and that's it...What's the problem!? Guest Pegasus76
The starter doesn't seem to be turning at all...Could I have fried the starter from the heat of my headers? I hear that can happen...
72zcar
headers are on the oppisite side so I dont think so. DO u have a volt meter, check the battery. If the ground wire coming off the battery to the starter is loose it will cause a click. Check all the connections
Guest Anonymous
I never leave my car at night without a bacward glance to make sure the courtesy lights go out and that the parking lights are out etc. Other than that, if it's the battery, it may have died in your arms with it's last start and you drove home on the alternator (But I think you would notice this from dimming lights at stops and/or a dashboard warning). Batteries will die on the spot if their plates short out inside They will warp from overcharge or vibrate loose and touch each other. I have seen some that will be flat dead (and unknowinly short) get charged and break that short take the charge and seem fine.....until you make your first trip and come out to find it flat dead again!
