Guest TreeCutter260z
i have decided to order a griffin radiator so i can end my cooling problem. will the 26x19 fit or do i need a 24x19 model. Also does anyone have a taurus fan on a griffin? how does it work? That what i'm going to use. any help would be nice thanks matt
Guest Anonymous
I am using the 24x19 and dimensionally it fits perfect. I had to make frame mounts for it and postion it just a tad lower than stock position. I also am using a 16" electric fan which covers 100% of the aluminum fins. It is a great radiator and be sure to rubber mount that sucka cause ya know how much it is worth...about $200. Just the beauty of an all aluminum radiator makes the engine bay luster! John C
My frame rail width in my 240 was just under 25 inches.I'd order the 24x19. John C

Guest greimann
Judging by your name, the car is a 260? If it is a 79-83 ZX, a 26 x 19 works great.
Guest Anonymous
I'm using a 24x19 Howe racing unit (aluminum like the Griffin). My rails were 25 3/8" up there, a 26 IMHO unless the 260 dimension is different would be to wide. I'm also running the taurus fan, on mine it fits probably 85% of the core or more and works wonderfully. Regards, Lone
