Phantom
As of today the only remaining issues on the car are speedometer calibration (it works) and figuring out why the brake warning light is on. Engine runs great & cool. Drivetrain seems solid - but time will tell. Horns work AC works All the stock gauges; speedo, tach, oil press, water temp, voltmeter & gas gauge work Windshield washers work Seatbelt warning light is now the "check engine" light Cashier's check is cut and in my pocket Expect #20, first impressions, next week. Guest zfan
Sounds awsome I'm glad it's all finally coming together for you. I will have to head out to Arlington and see that baby one of these days. Mike
Phantom
Yeah, I'm starting to put together my "post delivery" list which includes, but not necessarily in this order: 1) Get weight & balance on truck scale at work. 2) Get detailed - it has 11 months of dust accumlated everywhere 3) Make appointement for dyno run & get HP & torque curves 4) Install front & rear strut tower bars 5) Terrorize every Honda, 'stang & Fbody I can. 6) Run it at Motorport Ranch on June 8th. 7) Show it to about a hundred people who have been wondering if it really does exist. 8) Send update to zcar.com where it was zcar of the month back in Feb. '99 with the new drivetrain specs and a couple more photos to see if I can do a repeat. 9) Get the car "safety" inspected. Grandfathered out of emissions testing here in TX. jbeech
Yee-hah (as they say out your way)! Congrats. I'm especially interested in the weights when you get around to posting the data. Me, I'm not a prospect for an LS1, but I've enjoyed the updates.
