Bohnzii Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 I have an early 74 Z. In the JTR manual it says to install a 15K ohm resistor to the blue wire going to the tach. My question is: Does the 15K ohm resistor replace the existing resistor already in the blue wire or do I add the resistor and leave the old one there also? If you use two in parallel you got 7.5k. and if you use two in series you got 30k. .....and a screwy instrument either way.
