Guest Anonymous
Out of GM 2002 SUV's. David K
Ive seen that engine on a display stand at an air show. It is TALL, and i seriously think it would stick up a nice length above the hoodline.
Guest Anonymous
Hmmm damnit that could be the end of that idea. Looks like I'll have to dig up some dimensions.
Guest Anonymous
Theres also a 3.5 L version. Anyone out there able to get me the dimensions of these engines? They seem readily accessible on carparts.com. Buying a crapped out one and rebuilding may be worth it!
Guest Anonymous
Okay so it is doable then! 3 inches longer than a V8? Thats nothing!! Damn this engine has much potential but you're right it is pretty tall. A foot more than the L6 *sigh* wonder if the 3.5 is the same height
