Mike kZ
Check this out! http://www.theengineshop.com/newstuff8.shtml 610hp at 6400rpm, 584lb-ft at 4500rpm! It has a 2 year 24,000 mile insurance for $4000 in repairs. Here's the killer part, $9995- iron head (575hp, 565lb-ft), or $10495- aluminum head. Guest tt350
Yuuuuummmmm, maybe i wont even need that TT after all. j/k. lol Or maybe TT this ? With the 10:1 compression, you can probably run small boost on race gas. I dont know though, might be dangerous. Depends oh how high quility the internals are.... Nitrous maybe? Me and my evil thoughts. But that IS a sick engine with sick torque.
Phantom
Holy Cow! That's more than my whole LS1 conversion, parts and labor!
Guest Bob L
associated with 1.035" compression height or .2" between the cylinder bores? I am curious about the rod to camshaft clearance. Maybe small base circle on the camshaft?
Guest Aaron
Hot Rod has an article on that engine in the latest issue. They specifically mention that the engine should not me used with forced induction or large nitrous hits because of the small space between cylinders. Basically, no available head gasket will take it.
