Guest POKINATCHA
I've read some of the posts about carb.'s, and it seems like nobody even considers them in a turbo application. Anybody with some experience with a Webber blow-through setup?
Lockjaw
Mikuni's are better in a blow thru application.
randy 77zt
you have to apply the boost to the float chamber or boost blows gas back into the bowls.old time z car turbo kits used a big draw through su.twm makes throttle body/injector units for webber manifold. Guest Zcarsmakemyheadhurt
I know lots of people that have done boost on Webbers, mostly on Toyota, Rotary, and other small enignes. I have helped out on two L6 engines with carb set up's and I think it was a pain in the but and both engines where hurt tunning. If your good with jetting sycronizing and building Webbers go for it, but I think I like a Holly carb for more torque and easier tunablity anyway. Depends on your cam.
