Guest thepenguin99
I didnt read this whole thread so im not sure if this has been touched on or not. A first gen Z is really not a platform I would try to put 600+ ponies into. I am not saying its not possible because it has been done. Getting more than 400 or so to the ground in a Z is tough. Also, lets not forget you about how much you would have to strengthen the body for that kind of power. Just my $.02 Nathan

Guest Anonymous
I own right now a 79 Camaro Berlinetta with a 350 bored 60 over putting 432 to the flywheel. I like it but it weighs in at a hefty 3700 lbs with me in it. Whats my age gotta do with it? Bcuz im young makes me less of an enthusiast? less of a worker? Believer? Well its 600 first of all and the engine is not the problem ITS GETTING IT IN THIS CAR. The car is gonna be a drag purpose but driven on weekends and occasionally road 1/4 mile raced. peej410
Tex; Here Tex. Check out Mel's toy @ http://ratsun.com/ In spite of your attempted insults I like your spunk! Just don't get mad Tex!......LOL Shoot me your E-mail and I will try to give you a few things from out here in the land of prune pickers' date=' picknickers and ..... ..kers. You don't know me well enough yet Tex. I forgot to mention that I moved "DOWN" into Texas from Tulsa Oklahoma so as to get the Jump on your good lookin' women there. It was an exausting experience and several jealous husbands ganged up on me and finally drove me out and I ended up here in California where they are more understanding. We can bend over the coffee table laughing ay each other Tex,,,,,or, we can jump up swinging....I prefer the laughter myself! Now you know Tex, a twin turbo can do 800+ on a dyno (whether on pump or not, I know not, but without Nitrous). These days (out here at least), you never know about the bottle and need to be able to at least make some sort of showing without that trick. I consider nitrous and twin turbos to be out of my class and will not feel ashamed to get beat by such on occassion. Betting to me is a matter of technique applied to each situation. Serious betting to me is nothing like cafe racing at all. One look at my rear tires Tex and the fear of God enters your heart (as it would all racers wherever I might go) and all bets are off!.....LOL. So, I like to race for fun and free coffee. I stow five cement bags behind the seats and just before the drag (if anyone dast'), I laboriously pull them out one by one and let them thump on the ground in full view of the competition. What are you thinking?.....LOL Yes Tex, my car will strike fear in the hearts of men everywhere! I also know that God rides a Harley and drinks Coca-Cola! And Tex, my approach to street racing is simple: With motorcycles uppermost in mind, find the lightest car you can, put the biggest engine you can in it and enjoy! So my car looks like a drag stripper and maby sounds like a drag stripper butt it's snot![/quote'] spiirit.... if mels your wife.... please tell me you have a daughter my age (21) and btw i LOVE the front plate
