Guest Anonymous
I'm just repairing the body on my car after an accident and i'm looking to remove the stripes down the side (double sided tape?) so that I can have a clean look for the MSA body kit. I took one of the stripes of the passenger side door as that was already damaged and it started to take the paint of. I've tried to heat it up with a heat gun to see if that would help. Didn't. Took all the paint with it! Nice... Anyway, anyone got some suggestions? Or am I going to have to repaint them or remove them and repaint the panels? fl327
nothing worse than a faded two tone paint job with the stripes!!!
Guest Anonymous
On the 83' it has solid black plastic strips the length of the car. They are about 1" high and about 4mm think. Look ugly imo. Am I just gonna have to respray then? Is there no way to remove these without damaging the paint underneath?
