Guest NorCalZ
Hi, I recently purchased a 73 240z and I test drove a nice z yesterday with a much nicer ride than mine. He had stiffer shocks lowering springs and centerline 15x10r and 15x8.5in the front. Anyways the rims on that thing looked bad ass. He rolled the fender in so it wouldn't rub. Do you think I could pull off a similar set up? My plans were to buy GC coil overs with camber kit too. I have the 4x4 calipers and drilled rotors in the front. Then I wanted to go with tokico adjusts. in the front and tokico hp in the rear. But I want to know about swapping to 280z suspension. and what does shortening the struts do. I would like an introduction to some of the concepts used in your ride's suspension. Then I wanted to pack some rims at the similiar widths as the one I rode in on my car. I hear coilovers free up some space. I was planning on doing the rear Disc conversion, will I have enough room with 15 in rims. Is it cleaner to just get flares then to roll the fender. So many questions. Sorry about the unorganized fashion that this is presented to you. PS. I plan on occasionally autocrossing so I want something that can really squeeze me through the corners.
