Guest Your Car is Slow Posted June 11, 2003 Share Posted June 11, 2003 Ok..here are the photos. and This rear was purchased out of a 260Z drag car and sold to me as an R200 (I took the guys word as he has an 8sec 150+mph 260z and owns his own race shop). Now I never questioned anything until recently when the photos of the R200 vs R180 came up...and sadly..mine looks like the R180 instead of the R200. Someone mentioned some aluminum spacers were only found on the R180...well I dont see anything like that on mine...but it still looks (shape wise) as an R180. What do you guys think? Z-TARD Posted June 13, 2003 Share Posted June 13, 2003 Yup, definetly an R-200. An easy way to tell is the shape when veiwed from the rear. An R-200 will have a kind of Stop Sign shaped rear cover. The R-180's is more of a rectangle.
