Guest sabum
My brother has a Z with a 350 SB. The setup has a b&m supercharger with b&m direct port fuel injection system. He just called me and mentioned that they want 36 psi constant to the injector, which he has. The problem is on throttle the pressure drops to 5psi and the car falls on its face He already replaced the fuel pump and regulator. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Guest greimann
It could be a restriction in the delivery line like a kink, too many fittings or the ID is too small to flow the volume that the blown motor needs.
grumpyvette
Greimann is most likely correct here normally you need 1/2"ID feed and 3/8"-1/2"ID return lines and a pump that flows at least 250gph at 50psi for a supercharged engine,(THATS REALLY MARGINAL IF YOU DON,T WANT TO CHANCE BURNING PISTONS GO LARGER) read and play with ALL OF this untill understand understand this. http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET here where you get good pumps and fittings http://www.bennettracing.com/html/fuel_systems.html
