Z-Driver
Hey guyz, I have a 75 280z 2+2. It has a perfect interior and nice 17's but there is a problem. it's an automatic; and i have a whole 260z 4-speed driveline for parts. How hard and what is involved with swapping in a 4-speed? I have all the stuff to do it, I basically want to know if any fabrication outside of the clutch pedal assembly will be needed. Will the old auto transmission mounts work with the manual? Thanks a lot, z-driver

j260z
i don't think you will need any fabrication. if you take the pedal box out of the 260 it should just bolt straight across to the 280. if you've got all the clutch lines and cylinders it should be a snap to swap them over. i don't even think you will need a different tranny mount.
