240hoke
Hey, I just installed a set of 225/50/16 dunlops on my car. Whenever i go over bumps or under hard steering/acceleration they are rubbing the fender in the back. Looking for advice on how to go about rolling the inside endge up. Thanks Austin
Guest Venture-Z
Use a baseball bat. Stick it in between the tire and the lip, tilt it down and roll the car forward and back until the lip is gone.
240hoke
hey, thanks for the replies, im going to give the baseball bat a try since i havn't lowered the car yet there should be enough room to fit it without creasing the fender, if not i'll break out the ol pliers. -Austin
PETEW
Take your time doing this. If your paint is good, then you will want to heat it up with a heat gun first. If you don't there could be a chance that the paint around the lip will crack and peel off. Take your time and it will come out fine. Phantom
Austin, What offset are you running on your wheels? I have '0' offset on my 16x7 Center Lines. I am also running 225/50-16's. Yokohama's right now but had Dunlops. I have the same problem with ocaissional scrubbing on the rear fender well lips. I've considered the baseball bat routine myself - or a sledge hammer handle - NOTE - I said the handle of the sledge hammer!!!
