Guest BigWhyteDude
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to buy say a running and driveable 1984-5ish camaro Z28 parts/dono car first and drive it around untill i get a Z car to do a SBC JTR swap into? I mean the way im looking at it at least with a drivable donor car i can drive it around till i get ready to actualy start on the swap. Is this a good idea ?? how do you guys think i should aproch this????
DavyZ
It is not a bad idea provided you can do it efficiently cost-wise. A damaged body Camaro could be the hot ticket since you could pick it up cheap, still drive it, and then find a Z to swap the drivetrain into. Not a bad idea at all. JoeinCA
or even an old caprice wagon... that way you wont have any hesitation when you go to take the running gear out... just a thought, Joe
Guest BigWhyteDude
cool, now all i have to do is find a way to scrounge up enough money for the donor car between college classes which i start on aug 19. >:[ by the way nothing to do with this but just had a close encounter of the 4 legged kind on my way home from orientation at college. A WHOLE HERD OF THEM. Slid right through the middle of em.
