Guest Luigi
I put this here to let you all know my recent experience. The Koni's came from Arizona Z in 1989 or 1990. put 'em in car, realized that I needed to section the struts and took them out. The car never moved under it's own power. I moved the fronts to the rears and drove the car maybe 200-400 miles. Had KYB's in the front from a rabbit. Decided I didn't care for the KYB's and bought 4 custom valved bilsteins. Called koni. TOLD him I didn't have a receipt but if he would look I was sure he would see they weren't that old. He says "yeah I can work with you on them just send 'em up" Called today. The knoi's are 27 years old!!! rebound valve has been disolved by the shock oil and I'm stuck with them. Well not really stuck, I can buy them for $186.00 for a pair! I hope I can find a receipt (I have them for every thing else!) the morale? keep your receipts, even through 3 moves and 3 states. beware of koni's from Arizona z think about buying a different make of strut. I feel better already luigi

jaime240z
FYI: The Tokicos I recently bought appear to have a manufacture date on the box 8) I've had a bad experience with Konis too. The set on my last car seemed to last less than a year...Maybe I was a victim of the same thing.....
