What all is invloved in swapping 300zx ecu and 280zx ecu&amp

ok i've got the mass air flow meter and ecu from a 84 300zx turbo and heard that swapping it for my flapper MAF in my 83 turbo 280zx will help out a lot. what all is invloved? i.e. new wiring for anything? i have the MAF connector and am going to re-pin it because i know i will need that part, but is there anything else i wil need? does it matter that a 5speed ecu is going into an automatic caR? thanks, Brian.

i tried but i can search titles and only found one thread and it wasn't very detailed.

maybe i need to clarify. the 300zx maf has 6 wires and the 280zx maf has 4. the ecu is direct plug in. how do i re-wire the harness at the maf?
