TomoHawk
Has anybody put vents on their hatch window? I like the GTO style. What di you do? Otherwise, any suggestions? I need a way to let the hot air out better with the windows closed. side vents just seem to let winter air IN. Thx.
Scottie-GNZ
I have been wanting to look into converting the 1/4 windows to pop out but no time to get into it. I bet if someone came up with a neat way of doing that they could sell quite a few of them. HINT, HINT!
Synlubes
As far as the quarter windows go, it doesn`t look to hard ! There is a 2+2 i`ve been looking at in a local yard. There is a bolt in bracket that holds the window and then the pop out hinge is mounted into the rear of window. If anyone has any older microfisce or other parts reference, look it up and see if the bracket for the rear quarter windows can be gotten. DavyZ
Yes, the 2+2 windows would work, BUT the glass and surrounding metal frame are not the same size as the 2 seater units. The last time I took a look at the 2+2 quarter glass, the pop-out mechanism looked like it could be transferred, but you would have to drill holes in the glass... I plan on looking into it in the future when I can come by another 2+2. Sheesh, Z cars are getting more and more scarce in the yards everyday. Synlubes
Yes the quarter windows are of different shape, but I think it`s do able ! I have thought about this for years (riding in a hot a$$ car with no ventalation)(as I`m sure others as well), maybe it`s time for some action !
