Guest 240zgtr
okay can someone explain to me like i'm a four year old how this works cause it sounds too easy to be true, and i cant figure out why more people dont do this if it is so easy. i understand that normally to lower the suspension and ride comfortably you need to section the shocks. as i understand 300zx shocks are already 1.5 inches shorter and fit correctly? can this be true, or am i missing some key ingredient? cause if it works then screw it i'm throwing on some tien coil-overs. johnc
as i understand 300zx shocks are already 1.5 inches shorter and fit correctly? Your understanding is incorrect. Go to Pep Boys, Autozone, or most any auto parts store and buy a Haynes manual for the 240Z and for the 300ZX you're thinking about and read up. johnc
Yes. Again, get a shop manual. What's being discussed is basic stuff when it comes to a 240Z suspension and its made very clear in the shop or Haynes manual. If you're planning to do any mods to your car you must have the factory service manual or the Haynes shop manual to start.
