Guest cbrunberg Posted July 9, 2003 Share Posted July 9, 2003 OK I've read that you can adjust your stock tach by turning a screw in the back. Is that limited to certain years? Took one out of a car at the wrecking yard and the screw was a tiny little brass one that stripped when I tried to turn it. Was this the wrong screw? Has anyone who's done this posted about it? I tried a search but no answers that were helpful. Someone who's done please chime in. My cars a '73 240. I haven't pulled the tach yet.
