philUK Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 Hi, I'm running a Haltech E6K in my 1JZ-GTE engined 240z, and am having some problems with the boost control, any haltech experts out there that can help? Basically, at present my E6K is set up to use the boost control solenoid, this was working fine (for Ben Ellis, the previous owner), however, now no matter where I turn the boost control trim knob, I cannot raise boost above its lowest setting of 11 PSI. (should be variable between 11-16) Is there any way of checking that the boost controller is working, i.e. can I check the signal at the trim pot (boost control knob) and/or at the solenoid? does the solenoid make any sound or vibration when the boost setting is changed that I can listen out for or anything?
