Guest scottjuly79 Posted August 4, 2003 Share Posted August 4, 2003 my car- 74 260Z, Toyota 4 piston caliper/300zx rotor up front, 79 280zx disk out back, 15/16 M.C., stock brake booster. At low speed I have an extremely sensitive brake pedal, the brakes feel way overboosted. I am on my second brake-booster and have tried everything else I can think of to solve this problem. Drax240z Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 thats what I was thinking too... if the pushrod is too far out you might be dragging the brakes when driving, and it wouldn't take much additional pedal pressure to really lock them up. I gave up after replacing the booster, master cylinder, lines, proportioning valve, calipers, adjusting the pedal and bleeding the master cylinder and lines about a dozen times.
